A. TERM PAPER: Participants are to complete a five page (typed/double spaced) paper on any element pertaining to risk management. Topics can include, but are not limited to: types of insurance a business should carry, ways to mitigate liability in a commercial organization, group insurance options employers can offer employees, reducing risk through proper hiring of employees, and violence prevention programs. Another option for the paper would be to do a risk evaluation and reduction plan for an employer of the participant’s choosing.

The topic of your choice is yours with my approval. The paper should include a reference list, and use the APA Style of documentation. The course title and instructor’s name must be on the cover page of the paper; this usually is centered and toward the bottom of the cover page. See requirements on page 7. The term paper will be graded on the following criteria: length, content, spelling/grammar, financial analysis and works cited/bibliography. Include an: A) Introduction of the company (about 1 page) B) Financial analysis of the risk management paper (3.5 pages) C) Conclusion of your financial analysis (about 1/2 page)
